Here is a photo montage from Christmas 2025 at my mother and father’s house. As always, my mother did an amazing job making dinner, and we all had a wonderful time together. Afterward, we took a group photo in front of the magnificent Christmas tree my mother has been putting up for nearly 20 years. It’s a huge undertaking, and this may have been the last time she does it.
After the group photo, we moved on to gift giving. My mother insisted that we “should not give gifts anymore,” but of course we did anyway. All in all, it was a great time. My sister and brother-in-law gifted my father a giant American flag for the front of the house, and Paul also gifted him a roof shingle from the new home he and my sister are having built—boy was it heavy! My mother received some beautiful glassware, and my uncle gifted everyone scratch-off tickets, which turned into a fun and entertaining pastime.
It was truly special to have my mother and father, my uncle Billy, my sister, her husband Paul, my nephew Josh, and my girlfriend Jen all together to celebrate the holidays.
